Frequently Asked Questions

What form of payment do you accept?
Do you accept insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider. This means I do not participate in any insurance networks. However, many insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network services. I can provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

What is a superbill?

A superbill is a detailed receipt or statement provided to you that includes the necessary information for you to submit a claim to your insurance company. It includes details like the date of service, type of therapy, diagnosis codes, and the amount paid. You can use this superbill to potentially receive reimbursement for out-of-network services, depending on your insurance policy.

What would be the benefit to paying out of pocket for therapy?

Paying out of pocket for therapy offers several benefits:

Confidentiality: You can maintain a higher level of privacy, as your therapy sessions are not shared with an insurance company.

Flexibility: You have more control over the type of treatment you receive, without the limitations often imposed by insurance policies.

Fewer Restrictions: You are not bound by insurance companies' restrictions on the number of sessions, diagnosis codes, or specific therapists.

Better Availability: Out-of-pocket payment may give you quicker access to scheduling and flexibility with appointment times.

I accept the following forms of payment:

- Credit and Debit Cards

- Cash

- Check

- Health Savings Account (HSA)

- Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
